Between 5 March 2012 and 5 April there will be only two bridge lifts per day - at 0800 and 1800 (pre-booked with one hours notice), and between 16 April and 18 May there will be only three - 0800, 1800, and 2000

A Swell Time in Lyme Regis - Jim Long reports

This recent spell of lovely weather couldn’t pass by unnoticed from a sailing point of view. A visit to Lyme Regis would be a good idea, not too far away and would give us a chance of a decent trip half way across Lyme Bay. The plan was to stay at Lyme on the Friday and Saturday night and West Bay Sunday night with an early start on Monday to take the inshore passage at Portland Bill....
